Subprocessors

The companies that help Sledge run, and what each one does.

Effective Date: November 27, 2026 · Last updated: October 28, 2026

To run Sledge, we work with a small number of trusted companies that process personal information on our behalf. We call them subprocessors. Each one has agreed in writing to protect your information and to use it only to provide services to Sledge. We post any new subprocessor on this page at least 30 days before it starts processing customer information. If you would like to be notified of changes, email support@getsledge.com. Customers can object to a new subprocessor under our Data Processing Agreement.

All of the subprocessors below process information in the United States, unless noted.

Hosting and infrastructure

  • Amazon Web Services provides cloud hosting, computing, file storage (S3), and our message queues.
  • Supabase provides our database. Sign-in is built by Sledge, not by Supabase, and uploaded files are stored on Amazon S3.
  • Vercel hosts and delivers the Sledge web app.
  • RunPod reads text from documents you upload (OCR).
  • Better Stack stores our application logs and monitors uptime.

AI

Sledge sends most of its AI requests through OpenRouter, which passes each request to the model answering it. The rest go straight to OpenAI, as noted below. The model providers listed here receive a request only when their model is the one handling it.

  • OpenRouter routes Sledge AI requests to the model that serves them, including the open Kokoro model behind the voice Sledge speaks with.
  • Google provides the Gemini models behind the Sledge assistant, reached through OpenRouter.
  • OpenAI provides the models that read uploaded documents, transcribe what you say, and build the search index behind similarity matching, and provides a stand-in voice when the Kokoro model is unavailable. These requests go to OpenAI directly rather than through OpenRouter.

When you use Sledge AI, you also agree to follow our AI providers' usage rules, including the OpenAI Usage Policies and the Google Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy.

Payments

  • Stripe handles subscriptions, invoice payments, payouts, identity checks, and bank linking.
  • Check will handle payroll once payroll is available in Sledge.

Communications, analytics, and support

  • Twilio sends the text messages you signed up for.
  • Amazon Web Services (SES) sends account and notification emails.
  • Click2Mail prints and posts the physical mail Sledge sends on your behalf, such as preliminary notices.
  • Google provides our team email (Google Workspace), website analytics (Google Analytics), and spam protection for our forms (reCAPTCHA).
  • Mapbox provides maps, address search, and geocoding.
  • PostHog provides product analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
  • LinkedIn measures the results of LinkedIn advertising on our website, only if you accept marketing cookies.
  • Swan identifies companies visiting our website, only if you accept marketing cookies.
  • Sentry collects application error reports so we can diagnose faults.
  • HubSpot helps us manage customer relationships and support.
  • Zoom hosts customer calls and onboarding sessions.
  • Slack is where our team discusses support issues.
  • Atlassian (Jira and Confluence) helps us track bugs and feature requests.

Integrations you choose

When you connect Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, QuickBooks, BuildingConnected, or another integration, Sledge exchanges information with that service because you asked it to. These services are not Sledge subprocessors, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Changes to this list

October 23, 2026: First published. Removed Anthropic, ElevenLabs and the AI quality-monitoring vendor, none of which Sledge uses. Added Google (Gemini), Click2Mail, Twilio, Amazon SES, Swan, Mapbox and Sentry. Corrected Supabase's role to the database only, Better Stack's to log storage and uptime monitoring, and moved address lookup from Google Maps to Mapbox.

This list changes as we add, replace, or remove vendors and AI models, and as data transfer laws change around the world. We review each subprocessor's security and privacy terms before we add it. If you have questions or concerns, please email legal@getsledge.com.
